Function of Technical Training in Driver’s Education of Category „C”
Abstract
In the last decades the number of vehicles on public roads has increased by leaps and bounds and in parallel the road conditions have developed as well. Nowadays among good road conditions a modern vehicle is capable to reach much higher speed than it is allowed by the Highway Code. Although more and more vehicle possesses security systems which can help the driver, this high speed can be easily the cause of accidents. This is why it is important that drivers should be qualified to diagnose the roadworthiness which shows that the vehicle is capable for service or not. And it is also important that they should be able to define the different signs of errors meantime driving. The education needs to prepare the driver for any kind of different situations in connection not only with the traffic but with the technical problems and errors of the vehicle too. This article analysis and places the technical education’s role in the transport training and points out its shortages.
