Blasting Menaces of Turistic Places, Events

Abstract

Recently, the biggest security challenge is the terrorism. The ways of execution of these attempts are very different. Unfortunately, application of explosives is a quite often used method of the perpetrators. National defense services, anti-terrorist and security organizations – independently and in cooperation as well – pay special attention to fight against terrorist bomb attacks. Since the time, the target and the location of terror attacks cannot be defined, the prevention can be the most effective solution. They list the probable targets and reduce the probability of the execution of an attempt. The potential targets can be the crowded public places, or otherwise facilities, buildings with high security demand. Among these touristic attractions, iconic buildings, famous places are on the top. This paper summarizes the characteristics of offense and some possible ways of defense – of which necessity is doubtless.
