Emergency Prepareddness in Case of Product Pipeline Accidents Part I.

Abstract

The transportation of hazardous substances in Hungary currently is accomplished in several different ways, out of which the transport of dangerous goods through pipelines is considered to be one of the most hazardous ways. According to the domestic industrial safety regulations the operators have to fulfill various responsibilities. In this article the authors are researching the fire extinguishing and related activities in case of an accident linked with transportation of materials on product pipelines.
