Remediation Characteristics of Hybrid Vehicles in Road Accidents

Abstract

Due to the tightening of the environmental standards for the emission of pollutants in the transport sector, the number of alternative powered vehicles in the transport sector is increasing steadily worldwide. Integrated Electric Powered Vehicles (PEV’s) can reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In Hungary, more and more hybrid and electric vehicles are being placed on the market, which justifies the selection of topics. In the study, due to the spread of these vehicles, I deal with the sources of power that they carry with them. The increase in the number of hybrid and electric vehicles in transport involves the risk of cars with such propulsion being involved in traffic accidents All alternative vehicles tested exceed the limits of the present article and therefore only the hybrid vehicle construction and remediation I examine the specifics. I have set another research goal to point out the dangers of vehicles powered by hybrid electric vehicles and draw attention to the features of firefighting and rescue. My research was largely helped by the Toyota Prius Hybrid and the Nissan Leaf cars owned by the Széchenyi István University, which I also had an opportunity to undergo laboratory testing.
