Possibilities of Mine and Minefield Detection

Abstract

In the study, beyond the general description of mines and minefields, I present the methods and technical tools used to detect them. The field of use of these is extremely wide. The choice of methods used, apart from the available staff and technical equipment, depends on the situation, time available and the nature of the terrain. Mine exploration is one of the most dangerous activities. Its implementation is of paramount importance for the conduct of military operations and after their insertion in order to ensure the security of the civilian population.
